No, Sevilla were the most recent team to previously win two Europa League titles, with the club claiming the title in 2006 and 2007.

In 2006, Sevilla defeated Premier League side Middlesborough by 4-0 with goals from Luis Fabiano, Enzo Maresca and Fredi Kanoute.

In 2007, Sevilla then beat La Liga rivals Espanyol on penalties after the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Prior to that Porto claimed two UEFA Cups, winning under Jose Mourinho in 2003 and more recently under Andre Villas Boas in 2011.
